novaPDF Standard Desktop will allow you to generate PDF files from any printable document. You will not need to have Adobe Acrobat installed to create perfectly compatible PDF documents. You can use your regular desktop tools to create text documents, spreadsheets, forms, reports, contracts, agreements, or any other document you might need, and then convert them into a PDF file for easy distribution via e-mail or through your web site. Your documents can be read in any computer with Adobe Reader installed, regardless of the operating system it is using or the application you used to create the document. If you can print it, you can make a PDF out of it.
The program installs itself as a new virtual printer in your system. To convert your documents, you have three methods available - you can save any document as PDF from Microsoft Office, you can send any document directly to the novaPDF printer, or you can open novaPDF Standard Desktop, choose the file to convert, and hit the "Create" button. You can choose to append the document that you are about to convert to an existing PDF (after or before the existing content), to password-protect the PDF file, and to open the created PDF right after conversion.
The unregistered version of novaPDF Standard Desktop will include a sentence at the end of every converted document, urging you to buy the product.
